My daughter loves parties. Birthday and tea parties are her favorites. She has been wanting to have a “real” tea party for over six months now.
Among the problems with actually having a tea party is her guest list. She wants to invite family who live hundreds of miles away. However, she is also set on one special guest, Jesus.
I have explained that Jesus is with us all in spirit. He would definitely be at her tea party. She wants him in person, “for real.”
I have explained that Jesus is in Heaven. She said he died on the cross, but rose again. He could come.
I have prayed to know how to handle her request and arguments. She has prayed for him to come to her party “for real.”
My current solution. . .we are going to a local English tea room for afternoon tea instead.
