As I am preparing to begin formal homeschooling, I realize that I have been trying to foster a desire to read and learn in my daughter almost since she was born.

Have You Filled a Bucket Today? by Carol McCloud
A Bad Case of the Stripes by David Shannon
David Shannon has many good books. This is my daughter’s favorite.
No Matter What by Debi Gliori
Violet the Pilot by Steve Breen
Ladybug Girl at the Beach by David Soman and Jacky Davis
There are several Ladybug Girl books that all look good.
The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn
